New Exchange Partner

The Museum Library participates in a publications exchange program with institutions all over the world. The nearly 200 partners represent natural history museums, universities, government agencies, and other science organizations. We send out our peer-reviewed scientific journal, Kirtlandia, and in exchange we get a wide range of publications, some of which are not held in any other library in the state of Ohio.

Our newest exchange partner is The Natural History Museum, National Science Museum, Thailand. The Museum was established in 1995, completed in 2000, and officially opened in 2001. According to their mission statement, "the objectives of the Natural History Museum are to act as a National Reference Collection on Biodiversity, as a Center for Natural Science Exhibitions and Science Communication, and as a Research Center on Biodiversity in Thailand and neighboring countries." The Thailand Natural History Museum Journal is published semi-annually, and our holdings begin with Volume 4, 2010.
